worship ministry

Worship is an expression of faith and a declaration of victory. It declares that we believe God is with us and is in control of the outcome of ALL our circumstances (Romans 8:28). Praise is a sacrifice. It is something that we offer God sacrificially, not just because we feel like it, but because we believe God and want to please Him in everything we do. At HCC, the goal of our corporate worship time is to create an environment for the believers in the congregation, as well as those on the stage, to passionately and freely express their adoration of the one, true God.

During our Sunday morning worship times, we strive to draw the congregation into the Throne Room, the very presence of God, our Creator. We also believe that Worship is a life experience and we encourage people to embark on their own personal, daily discovery of worship in an individual capacity. We truly believe that unless believers are able to recognize and value the presence of God in their lives on a daily basis, our corporate worship experience will never reach its full potential. Worship is THE purpose and if we live out that purpose, our fruit will result in ministry. Everything flows out of worship. Ministry, evangelism, fellowship and discipleship are things you do....WORSHIP IS WHO YOU ARE.

“Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God.” Colossians 3:16

“Praise you the LORD! Praise God in His sanctuary: Praise Him in the firmament of His power. Praise Him for His mighty acts: Praise Him according to His excellent greatness. Praise Him with the sound of the trumpet. Praise Him with the psaltery and harp. Praise Him with the timbrel and dance: Praise Him with the stringed instruments and organs. Praise Him upon the loud cymbals: praise Him upon the high sounding cymbals. Let everything that has breath, praise the LORD. PRAISE YE THE LORD!” Psalm 150

get connected

We believe that small groups most effectively reflect and express the heart of Christ in the task of making disciples.  We encourage all believers to connect to at least one of the more intimate levels of small groups (those beneath the worship assembly).

We would like to help you get connected.
