BRAD CLOUSE

LEAD MINISTER

A Louisville, Kentucky native, graduated from Louisville Bible College in 2010 with a Master's Degree in Sacred Literature after earning his former degrees at the same university. Brad served at smaller churches in Adair County Kentucky while in college before being called to Ohio in 2009. Brad ministered to the New Vienna Church of Christ congregation for 12 years before being called to the Hillsboro Church of Christ as the Senior Minister.

Brad and his family, including his wife, Julie, son Will, and daughters Annaleigh and Samantha, live just outside of Hillsboro. They spend most of their free time at sporting events for the kids or cheering on the Louisville Cardinals. They view themselves as a ministry family that wants to set an example for others while knowing they need the grace and mercy of Jesus each day!

MICAH HERRICK

WORSHIP MINISTER

A graduate of Cincinnati Christian University, earning a B.M. in Music and Worship with a focus in Vocal Performance.

Micah began ministry in 2012 after being commissioned for ministry by his home church, White Oak Christian Church, in Cincinnati, OH. Micah is currently serving HCC as Worship Minister, as well as leading our Evangelism team and coordinating our online presence. He has served in both Youth Ministry and Worship Ministry in Richmond, IN and Knightstown, IN before coming back to Ohio to serve in Hillsboro.

Micah and his wife Rebecca have been married and striving in ministry together since 2012. They have four beautiful children: Rowan, Luci, Kennedy, and Finn. They love to sing and play as a family.

JAMES SCOTT

DISCIPLESHIP MINISTER

James Scott has a background in systems creation, both in the IT field and in organizational management.

After God grabbed ahold of James’ heart in 2016, he has had a growing passion to understand the word of God and connect others to the heart of God. He is currently pursuing undergrad work with CCCB but more importantly pursuing God in His word. His desire is to get as many as possible connected in community through the teachings of and mutual submission to King Jesus.

James and his lovely wife Krystal have two great boys, Kingston and Uriah. James is also a gifted and passionate musician. You might just see him helping lead our congregation in worship on Sundays.

TREVOR GLEADLE

STUDENT MINISTER

Trevor Gleadle is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati with a bachelor’s degree in Middle Childhood Education.

Trevor was born and raised in Hillsboro and has been a member of Hillsboro Church of Christ his whole life. While attending the University of Cincinnati, Trevor was blessed to be a part of a campus ministry called h2o Cincinnati. It was here that God began to transform his heart to have a passion for the Gospel of Jesus Christ. After college, the responsibilities of being a leader of a family and an educator continued to reinforce that he is a sinner in need of a Savior. In God’s providence, he was led to pursue ministry.

Trevor and his wife Jenni have been teachers at Hillsboro City Schools since they graduated college. They love going on adventures as a family with their boy Brayden.

MEGAN APGAR

CHILDREN'S MINISTER

A Hillsboro native, she started attending Hillsboro Church of Christ in 2004. After a few years of being an exceptional volunteer, Megan was called up to begin leading our children's ministry as the Children's Director in 2017. For a while she was part time on staff and working as a Teacher's Aid at Hillsboro Elementary. As of 2024 she works with us in a full time capacity as Children's Minister, while also pursuing an accredited certificate program in Children's Ministry through KidMin Academy. She has a gift for really seeing the uniqueness in the heart of every child and a passion for sharing the love of Jesus with each of them.

She is married to her high school sweetheart, Aaron, and they have two children and many pets.

ELDERS

STEVE ALLEN

Steve Allen and his wife Linda have been a part of the HCC family for over 32 years. Steve has been an elder for 17+ years at HCC and has been teaching the Ambassadors Hope Group for 27+ years. In addition Steve & Linda were youth group coaches and they are currently leading a Hope Group Bible study in their home.
 
Steve and Linda have three daughters and eight grandchildren which keep them very busy. Since retiring after 40 years with Cincinnati Milacron, Steve likes to get in a round of golf with friends; spend quiet time reading a good book and cheering on our Ohio sports teams (except Cleveland………sorry Brownies fans!)

ROGER EPLEY

Roger Epley started serving as an Elder at HCC in 1994. He has taught adult bible classes for many of those years. He was born and raised in southern Missouri and he moved to Ohio in 1993. Roger and Janet have been married for 46 years and they've been blessed with four children, their spouses and eight grandkids. He has worked professionally for 26 years in the real estate business with Wilson National, LLC. His hobbies include farming, hunting, fishing and horses.

Roger's passions are his grandkids and sharing Jesus with kids and their families through the utilization of the gifts God has blessed him with, hospitality and the horses. He serves with the Cross Trails horse ministry team.

DAN FAUBER

Dan Fauber and his wife Katina have been married for 44+ years. He has been an Elder for over nine years and has been a Deacon for many years before that. Dan has been at HCC his whole life and if you look really closely at some old photographs you just might see him in the two year old class.

Dan and Katina have three sons and eight grandchildren. He has taught the Silent Witness Class, Jr High Class, and is currently leading the Loyal Christians Hope Group.

JEFF GRIFFITH

Jeff Griffith grew up attending HCC. He and his wife, Ingrid, were married here in 1995. They have four children and four grandchildren. After marriage, they moved to Washington C.H., Ohio, to open a Christian Book store. While in Washington C.H., they helped lead the high school youth group at Southside Church of Christ while the church looked for a full-time Youth Minister. Jeff also served as a Deacon, Financial Secretary, and member of the worship team.

They moved back to Hillsboro in 2019 to take over the family farm and re-open a greenhouse business. They lead the high school Hope/Youth Group and Jeff also serves in the worship ministry.

RICHARD VANZANT

Richard VanZant grew up in southern Highland County on a farm south of Belfast Ohio, became a believer in 1963, married his wife Debra in 1973 and started attending HCC. They have two children, Whitney and Benjamin, and two beautiful granddaughters, Marley and Ryan. He has been involved in our community through the years as the Chamber of Commerce chairman, president of the Rotary Club, 175th Hillsboro Festival co-chairman and former chairman of the Human Rights Board in Hillsboro. He is currently a board member of Hope House, a Christian counseling center in Sinking Spring.

At HCC he has served as a deacon, teacher of various Sunday school classes and led small groups. He is currently an Elder, member of the worship team and safety team, assists our treasurer, and teaches when needed.

SUSIE BURNS

OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR

Susie has been worshipping with Hillsboro Church of Christ since 1982, worked in the role of Publicist from 2016 and took on office administration duties in 2024. She grew up in the Danville Church of Christ and came to HCC shortly after marrying her husband. She is married to Larry Burns and they have two adult children, Tyler and his wife Ashley, and Cody and his wife Saundra. They have five grandchildren, Karlee, Kennedy, Harrison, Audrey, and Jackson.

LARRY BURNS

Facilities Manager

Larry has been worshipping at Hillsboro Church of Christ all his life (except for a short period of time while attending Danville Church of Christ pursuing his wife). Larry has been working as HCC's Facility Manager since 2015

ROB & JEANETTE LUDWICK

CUSTODIANS

Rob and Jeanette have been serving Christ for over 30 years and working as Hillsboro Church of Christ's custodians since 2017. They have been married for 35 years and have two children, Casey Ludwick and Jason (Jennifer) Ludwick. They also have four grandchildren; Aubrey, Skylar, Savanna and Bella. Rob and Jeannette have two dogs and enjoy taking them camping with them when they have free time.
